Volstead @ Cinema!

I have been back to Cinema about 4 times now and really have enjoyed all the finds.  It makes such a difference when an event is full of exclusive items and new releases.

The dress from Volstead is so pretty and fresh, it was a must have as soon as I saw it.  It’s mesh, but a lace overlay, over system layers.  This works really well for the piece and gives it an added dimension.  And the handbag from Boom was all “OMG I need that now!”

More Summer Harvest Hunt!

Valentina E. @ Summer Harvest Hunt & FaMESHed!

The Summer Harvest Hunt by The Ego Co. is in full swing and one of the cutest mesh dresses in the hunt is from Valentina E. Couture. At The Ego Co webpage you can get SLurl’s and hints to each of the gifts, and don’t forget the in-world group if you need extra encouragement!

Valentina E. is also one of the regulars at FaMESHed and this months dress is a stunner.  It has a snake for a collar that melts into the dress as it goes around the neck and down the side of the dress.

Glam Affair has long been one of my favorite skin makers (I even have skins back to the days of Beauty Avatar!) and I am sooo in love with the newest release Lilith.  I’m wearing it in the America tone. This is the second release with the new skin tones, and each one is so beautiful.  I can’t wait to see more releases!

Valentina E. is in the Plaid!

It’s no secret that I love plaid.  Almost as much as sugar skulls.  But finding a good plaid in SL, that looks good on my AV can at times be frustrating.  But this new release by Valentine E. Couture is a gem!

The “Strapless Bow Dress” is saucy and sophisticated at the same time, I love the belt/bow detail And the bottom edging that pulls out the color of the plaid.  This is win all the way.  I’ve paired it with Skifija’s new Black Sting Boots. Sleek, thigh high leather with a nice pointed toe and hidden zipper detailing.

Gabriel’s new summer hotness!

Gabriel has just released some hot new dresses this week, and I couldn’t wait to show you my favorite one.

The Mesh Casual Dress has a great bunched up, gathered look to it that comes across as sweet and slightly naughty.  I love the blue color and the movement of the dress.  As always try the demo!

More Vintage Fair Hotness!

If you haven’t been to the Vintage Fair yet, now is a great time to go, low lag, crowds have thinned down a bit and 3 sims full of vintage hotness.  Yes, 3 sims jam packed full.  And I have to say, the layout this year is one of the best event builds ever.  Easy to navigate, *beautiful* build by Cory Edo of Trompe Loeil, and not a bad spot on any of the sims.  It lasts until the 29th and is totally worth spending a few hours strolling through, just to see everything.

New hawtness @ ColdLogic!

In the midst of all the One Voice mania…  ColdLogic has snuck in and released a beautiful line of summer separates.  And since it is One Voice that’s taking center stage across the SL fashion world…  I thought we could start with ColdLogic’s offering…

ColdLogic‘s One Voice top, N*Core Shoes, Chop Zuey jewelry.

The new tank tops and wrap skirts are fun and flirty.  The colors as always are great and the detailing is exactly what you would expect from ColdLogic.  These are mix and match heaven.

One thing that’s not shown (and I thought about it after I processed the pictures *facepalm*) is that the backs of the tanks are beautiful, a gorgeous cut-out style design that’s like nothing else on the grid.

Also as part of this new release are some great dress casuals.  Shorts and these sleeveless button down tops.  I love the criss-cross style on the back, it’s a great detail (And I thought about the picture this time!)

CHIC² Preview!

On June 4, 2012 CHIC Management celebrates its 2nd birthday.  To celebrate they are holding a special event entitled CHIC²  with 150 of SL’s best loved designers.  “Each brand will have one new and exclusive (for the duration of the event) item with the theme of CHIC” (CHIC press release) and the event runs from the 3rd of June until the 24th.

Here is a small preview of what will be offered.

This new release from ColdLogic is a sweet and sassy strapless dress, sure to be one of my summer favorites.  It’s brand new for the event!

This newest release by Valentina E. Couture is called “Garbo” and comes in gorgeous rich colors.  This dress is a must have and can be worn with or without the sleeves.

The skin in both pictures is the newest from Al Vulo! called Baba2.  I’ve never worn Al Vulo skin before and this is so beautiful.

Hunter or hunted?

So last night I went to this great themed dance at my favorite hangout place “The D.” It was The Vampire Ball (each week has a different theme.) So as I started putting together my outfit I had to decide was I going to be a vampire or a vampire hunter?

Now some people like to buy complete costumes off of the marketplace, or in shops, which is cool.  But I’m the type that likes to start from the ground up.  In my search for something hot and yet fitting the theme I dropped by Bare Rose.  They have a whole wall of mesh!  Who Knew?!  Now Bare Rose is an awesome place to find really original and well made clothing dirt cheap.  RP’ers and fans of Cosplay have known this for years.  This mesh open shirt could be worn in a lot of ways, not just for a party.

Cold Logic, Lamb & Glam Affair… oh my!

Wow, it’s been a busy week!  If you’ve been hiding under a rock, you might have missed the newest releases from ColdLogic, !Lamb, and Glam Affair.  Word spreads fast in SL, so it’s not likely.

Maci and I nearly had a collision running to buy the newest, latest, and greatest releases…  Which meant of course that we had to do pics together!  We’re both wearing the new releases from ColdLogic -  Savage (left) and Vergara (right), the newest skin from Glam Affair called Leah, and two of the hot new hairs from !Lamb – Blush (left) and Brand New Lover (right).

  I know Maci has told you all how much she adores this skin, and truly, I can’t say enough about it either…  the lips.  OMG. The LIPS.  I am in love.  Oh… and the freckles.  Oh… and the red eyebrows …finally!  Yeah, this is the skin.  Total *win* for Glam Affair.  You can also buy more freckles and a whole pallet of lipsticks.  This is one skin I think I’ll wear for a very long time.

ColdLogic has been release after release of fantastic, high quality clothing.  These two dresses are no exception. Great for the summer season, dressed up or dressed down these dresses look fantastic.

It’s been a while since Lamb released some new hair and the first mesh releases are really stunning.  I love the colors that Lamb hair comes in and the styles are often very versatile.
