[Aura] @ FaMESHed

Happy 4th of July to all my fellow Americans, hope you’re having a great day and celebrating with loved ones! I just came in from the sun myself and thought “OMG I need to blog that dress!”

FaMESHed came out with a new round a few days ago, and this dress from [Aura] has been one of my favorite things. I love it. The colors are perfect for summer, and the styling with the bloused top and wide belt is just gorgeous.

The Megan hair from Wasabi Pills is also new at FaMESHed and is a really sweet top pulled ponytail. Has a hud to change the rubber band color and is a compliment to the dress!

New at Mon Tissu!

I couldn’t wait to run over to {mon tissu} this morning and grab the newness. Beautiful sundresses and great casuals perfect for your next day on the beach or evening with friends. I’ve been so busy this week, without a lot of time to do pictures, but I had to blog this. So the pictures are mostly unprocessed, just cropped and a filter or two applied.

The Seaside sundress with its sleek fitted bodice and pleated skirt has a bit of a retro feel that could be dressed up or down. It comes in great refreshing colors and patterns and would be a perfect wardrobe staple.

The Slouchy Sweatshirt and Hanalei shorts are fantastic! Great for on the dock, at the mall, or anywhere else. Love the detailing on the sweatshirts! And I HAD to have the anchor shorts. Because… I’m a little silly for nautical designs. And have you seen these wedges from Celoe? These are by far my favorite wedge sandals this season.

Celoe… Classic elegance.

I love when Celoe releases new pieces of clothing. Their entire line is so elegant and easy to wear. I’ve never been disappointed with any purchase. Well except for one small thing… I really wish they would have a fat pack option! But if that’s the worst thing you can say about a place… Yeah.

The “April” dress just screams summer, and comes in such beautiful vivid colors such as the one pictured here called fanta.

Finally… a beautiful corset that does not have gigantic built in boobs. I love corsets, and this is the first mesh one I have ever purchased that looks really good on me, and fits properly. The corset is called “Clara” and the color is hush. The skirt shown is the “Nikita” skirt in snow. which was a previous release.

Oh.. and SHOES. Similar has released mesh stilettos with the foot attachment that are just gorgeous. I love these so much, I hate to take them off. The foot colors very easily, and the way the ankle meets up to the AV removes the need for ankle straps or bracelets. I only bought the white patent, but I will be going back for more!

Mon Tissu Madness!

Most of you probably know by now that Mon Tissu has released “Nora” a fab pair of Mesh Jeans. They come in 7 colors (shown below in light and dark). The GORGEOUS new sim opened early for Mon Tissu and Celoe members, and both Maci and I ran over and grabbed these jeans. The Cost to join the Mon Tissu Soiree is 1k, which might seem a little steep. But if you’re a fan of buying fat packs, Mon Tissu offers a 25% discount for group members, plus 5% cumulative store credit on all regular purchases.

Maci and I took the opportunity to pose together to show off these incredible new jeans. The shoes we’re wearing are also Mesh and are a new release from Celoe called “Xylia”. I’ll have a few new goodies from Celoe to show you later!

This isn't vain or anything.
My name in Second Life is Joie Arai and I love to take pictures, I love clothing. So that brings me here, the two together scream "BLOG!" I want to share the things I really enjoy about my SL and hope to include many different styles.
I try to show things as I would wear them, and want my photography to reflect my style. Clean, simple, and elegant. The art of making a beautiful picture that shows off the clothing and still has those elements is something I strive for. When I use props and backdrops, or even in-world locations, I try to choose things that show the clothing. To me, it is after-all a fashion blog. Fashion first.
