New at Mon Tissu!

I couldn’t wait to run over to {mon tissu} this morning and grab the newness. Beautiful sundresses and great casuals perfect for your next day on the beach or evening with friends. I’ve been so busy this week, without a lot of time to do pictures, but I had to blog this. So the pictures are mostly unprocessed, just cropped and a filter or two applied.

The Seaside sundress with its sleek fitted bodice and pleated skirt has a bit of a retro feel that could be dressed up or down. It comes in great refreshing colors and patterns and would be a perfect wardrobe staple.

The Slouchy Sweatshirt and Hanalei shorts are fantastic! Great for on the dock, at the mall, or anywhere else. Love the detailing on the sweatshirts! And I HAD to have the anchor shorts. Because… I’m a little silly for nautical designs. And have you seen these wedges from Celoe? These are by far my favorite wedge sandals this season.

Deco… does casual military style (And more!).

Deco has turned the corner on design. This was one of my favorite jewelry stores in all SL for the longest time, I think I have almost every piece ever released from this store. And now they have an incredible line of mesh clothing, hats, shoes military-style gear and any number of other odds and ends you didn’t know you needed until you saw them (like a mesh viking beard, or a plague doctor mask). Yesterday Deco released these fantastic Wooly Pully sweaters and sent out a great group gift of a pink one.

These sweaters have great detail and a beautiful cut to them, I love the slightly long sleeves and the arm patches. Shown above in the pink group gift (not sold in the store!) and below in licorice.

While I was in the store I grabbed a couple of other things to show you all. The cargo pants are fantastic! And they came with the cutest shoes! I was a little nervous on purchasing since I didn’t notice a demo, but I am really glad I did. I’ll be going back and getting these pants in a few other colors! And the shoes! I love them.

I also grabbed this super cute mesh dress “M100 Dress” that could be worn in a number of different ways. It’s got a hood in the back and the nice longer sleeves.

Mandala’s hot off the press!

Mandala has released some incredible new pieces in the last few days. This is one of my most favorite stores in SL. I love seeing all the new items, going to the beautiful shop. The designs are always fresh and cutting edge. This release is no exception.

So much gorgeous newness all in one post, I can hardly stand it! For starters The Pearl Rain 2 bracelet was released to complement the previous necklace release, and it’s gorgeous! The watch-like Hokusai bracelet which is so detailed and perfect, that I will be looking for outfits to wear with it for weeks! And last but not least… The Onigiri necklace and earrings (sold separately). The key and lock design is one of my favorites in all of SL. On this set, the key and the lock can also be worn as individual necklaces, making it even more versatile.

Lelutka has just released some new hairstyles not to be missed as well! This one is called Cachet and can be worn in 3 different ways. It’s shown here in just the ponytail with the optional hair base (sold separately) but can also be worn as a pulled up style with a tiny bun r the bun and pony together. Really great new hair!

New – Jane & Synthetique!

Jane and Synthetique both had new releases in the past few days, and I have been dying to share!

The new Leena dress from Jane is just fabulous. Great summer colors, and this trim detailing at the bust which makes it a step above the hand-drawn variety. Jane is known for it’s good quality mesh clothing, that doesn’t break the wallet. Because it’s mesh, be sure to try the demo, even standard sizing may not always be correct depending on how the garment is weighted, or the alpha is made.

Synthetique has just come out with a pastel set to the wildly popular mesh nails series. These are the BEST mesh nail I have ever seen, I won’t even wear other nails now. The fit is fantastic. The shape is perfect, and the colors are some of the best going. Best part is, I never have to change the nails. I just put on the hud for the ones I want and choose the color. All Synthetique huds work with all the Synthetique nails. And…. for those of you wanting a shorter length… I heard that a sport length option is in the works, and that all current Synthetique huds will work with the new sport length as well! As a side note, these nails are on sale for this week on the marketplace for 199L!

Valentina E. – Classically Beautiful.

Valentina E. Couture has just released a gorgeous new addition to the lovely Garbo dress. Lighter colors and floral patterns make this dress a stunner. The deep cleavage revealing keyhole design paired with the gentle fitted curves just scream wardrobe classic. One of the things that I really appreciate about this brand is that all of the designs are original, they are not texturing templates, and that to me is a huge thing.

Fluid – Stakey

Fluid is happening right now! If you haven’t heard, it’s a bi-weekly event bringing you themed creations from some of SL’s best pose, props, animations and furniture creators. This first event is “Summer Fun” and all the poses are themed around summertime!

Stakey has this great pose set called “Timeless Strawberry” and it is perfect for summer! The strawberry prop is adorable! My friend Jack posed with me and he used the free AnyPose Hud from the marketplace to set his eyes on the prize and hold his mouth open. This is my first time using a pose from Stakey, and I can’t wait to go check out the main shop.

This past Friday saw the return of Fifty Linden Fridays to the grid. It was exciting and chock full of goodness from any of the old favorites, and a couple of fantastic new ones too! One of these new FLF shops is One Bad Pixel. The Babytux lingerie in mesh with the babydoll dress (not shown) included was a great bargain. The plum color is gorgeous, and seemed a fantastic fit for the Stakey pose.

Zombie Popcorn – It’s a Carnival!

So many really great events going on now. CHIC2 until the 24th, Fluids first rotation for 2 weeks, and a great new Zombie Popcorn festival. Carnival is over 50 shops laid out like a carnival and has tons of great exclusives!

League is one of the shops there, and they have brought this fantastic necklace and earring set “Sideshow” It comes in 6 earring styles and 3 necklace styles, ans also blank versions so that you can add your own pictures. It’s so incredible.

Mayfly is there with their incredible mesh eyes. This is the first time I have tried mesh eyes, and I have to say, I am a fan. The colors are amazing, you can pick your level of shadow, and they re-size very easily.

Fluid Preview – Captivity Poses

Fluid is starting tomorrow, And wow am I excited! It’s going to be a bi-weekly themed event featuring poses and furniture. Each new rotation will have a different theme, and the first one is called “Summer Fun.” So I think we can expect a whole lot of fun things! As a pose junkie… I’m in my element.

Captivity Poses was kind enough to send out a blogger review copy of a pose they will have on offer. This is called Sparkler Kiss and comes with 2 particle emitting sparklers. One each for him and her. This was so sweet, I couldn’t resist grabbing the closest good looking boy and having my way with him. Ok… maybe just a little smooch.

Schadenfreude steals the show.

So… my very most favorite thing at this round of Collabor88 are the color field dresses from Schadenfreude. They are bold, they fit well and they are all inspired by and named after some kick ass artists. There are 8 different styles to choose from.
